LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Implemented and managed a new Learning Management System, achieving a 75% take-up rate within three months of launch. Responsible for all phases including: roll out planning and design, content development and curation, internal marketing, user testing and troubleshooting, end user technical support and training.
Conducted all collaboration with SMEs, resource acquisition, multi-dimensional needs analysis, copywriting/scriptwriting, audio/video recording and editing, photo editing, voice over narration, and test item development. Developed original employee on-boarding training modules, using the ADDIE model.
INSTRUCTOR-LED TRAINING AND PRESENTATION
Applying adult learning principals, planned and implemented professional training presentations. Responsible for curriculum and lesson plan development, creating relevant and engaging visual and auditory aids, ensuring proper working order of all technology at site locations, keeping open lines of communication with training site coordinators, devising alternative lesson plans to facilitate the scheduled training events regardless of technological or other potential setbacks, engaging audiences by getting them actively involved and improvising where appropriate, ensuring clear expectations among workshop participants, designing valid learning assessments and other feedback tools.
Exceeded or met all Workforce Education and Readiness Continuum (WERC) program performance measures over four program years, with ZERO auditory findings over the most recent three program years. Duties included ensuring service delivery and compliance to company and contract policies, providing training, supervision, guidance, coaching, and/or corrective action to local and remote program staff, budget monitoring (up to $1,000,000), quality assurance, data analysis, performance monitoring and reporting, collaboration with numerous stakeholders and community partners, grant writing support, program and community outreach.
Consulted with senior management to develop annual staff development and training plans, and determine appropriate organizational interventions to meet business goals.
Provide career path, educational, and employment counseling to adult and juvenile populations with significant barriers to employment, resulting in hundreds of individuals obtaining self-sufficiency. Strategies included utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to determine customer needs, working closely with local employers to identify suitable candidates to fill open positions, maintaining meticulous service documentation, providing excellent customer service, designing community outreach strategies to recruit from under-served populations, and facilitating public information sessions.
At various educational institutions, provided a variety of student services including academic advising and enrollment services, career path counseling, financial aid workshops, ATB testing, proctoring, and scheduling, internal and external marketing of scheduled program services, participating in the development of grant and other funding related proposals and presentations, and coordinating new student recruitment and retention programs.
